Accomplishments

• Over 1000 School guidance counselors from across New York state have attended SUNYCAP op-inform programs in Fall 2008.
• SUNYCAP has made monetary donations each year to organizations such as the Special Olympics and Hillside Family of Agencies.
• SUNY Potsdam hosted the NYSACAC sponsored Camp College in 2008.
• 26 new SUNY Admissions professionals attended the annual SUNYCAP New Professionals Orientation in Albany in September.
• SUNYCAP SLI (SUNYCAP Leadership Institute) will graduate it's first class of members who have completed the program since its inception.
• SUNYCAP has added two new awards in honor of two of its founding members: Dave Truax and Larry Appell.
